Land's End

Little Star

"Then the trav'ller in the dark,
Thanks you for your tiny spark..."

Ann and Jane Taylor 1806

In the far reaches of our neighborhood at the end of a road called "land's end," I was moved to dance with the single streetlight lighting up the foliage amidst the surrounding darkness. I learned from dancing daily for YearOfButoh in 2009 that each moment, everywhere, even in the dark of night, is an opportunity to dance.

I was on my way home from spending time in sacred circle with wonderful women feeling touched and grateful for so many of those that shine their twinkling lights on my path... I give great thanks to you... thank you for your brilliant stellar scintillation!

"Anyway, what's the purpose of our being here? Ultimately, aren't we here to link hearts?"
Kazuo Ohno - Maureen Freehill's sensei

(Tonight I also learned that the scientific name for the twinkling of stars is stellar scintillation:~).
