statue

Today's practice was another day of feeling the need to be surrounded by a womb of walls, longing for stillness and silence...
While in the studio I was drawn to the statue that borders the edge of the studio space. Inspired by the desire to move inward today - both in-body and in-location, the statue felt like a good mirror for stillness...
Exploring undiscovered inner spaces was inspired by Momo's teachings.
"Let go of something, somewhere... Ease into dark corners, locked rooms, unexplored hallways. Gain entry not by force or will but only by softness. Enter on the wings on the breath... let go of something somewhere."

Music: Brian Eno
Sculpture by extraordinary artist, Heather Cole Gatto
