little sun meets big sun with a kiss

While in Mexico I am limiting my computer time and letting the surrounding environs sink into my being and my being sink into the environs... I am not doing a daily blog, but I am dancing often on the inside with the beauty that abounds here, as well as in my body, but, have not been filming any of the exchanges as yet.

Tonight, however, I could not resist this dance with the little sun and big sun while dining oceanside...

My 99 year old yoga therapist would often say that who we are as an individual is the breath or child of God (Great Spirit, Great Mystery or whatever label one uses for Infinite Spirit). In my yoga classes I often refer to the light within our hearts as being like a candle flame, but, is connected to all other candle flames in the hearts of everyone, as well as the light of the Infinite Spirit, as portrayed by the physical manifestation of the sun in the sky.

I like to think that all our small suns, or flames, are simply 'breaths' or 'children' of the big Sun...

I enjoyed this play / dance of the little light meeting the big light, with a kiss!! Love the idea of a union (yoga) with the Infinite Spirit as being that effortless :~)

Thanks for viewing / reading,

Lee

Some Kiss We Want

There is some kiss we want with
our whole lives, the touch of
spirit on the body.

Seawater
begs the pearl to break its shell...

At night, I open the window and ask
the moon to come and press its
face against mine.

Breathe into me.

Close the language-door and
open the love window.
The moon
won't use the door, only the window.

  1. Magnificent Lee!
Thank you for taking us with you. I loved hearing the waves, the birds and the music in the background. The sun, the candle light... as I sit here in Ballard I felt the warmth, smelled the sea and imagined my coffee was a margarita and even tasted a hint of lime.
Much much love to you dear heart!
